1Every morning, my alarm clock rings at half past six, and every morning I want to throw it out of the window. I am not . Like many teenagers, I simply do not get enough sleep. In my opinion, adults should take this problem much more .
2Doctors say that teenagers need about eight to ten hours of sleep every night. However, during the teenage years, the body clock changes. Teenagers usually start to feel later in the evening than younger children do. So when we go to bed late, it is often not because we want to stay up, but because our bodies are not ready to sleep.
3Sleep is not a waste of time. While we sleep, the brain what we learned during the day. Without enough sleep, it is harder to in class, and we get angry more easily. Tired teenagers may also get sick more often.
4So what can be done? First, teenagers can help themselves. We should put our phones away at least an hour before bed, because the light from can make it harder to fall asleep. Second, I believe that schools should start a little later, for example at nine o'clock instead of eight. A student is a better student.
5Some people will say that we just need to go to bed earlier. That is part of the answer, but it is not the whole answer. Let's give teenagers the sleep they need.
