1Last week, my class visited the City Science Museum, and I expected another boring school trip. I was wrong. This museum is not a place where you walk quietly past glass cases. Almost every has a button to press, a to turn or a screen to touch.
2My favorite part was the Light and Sound Hall. In one room, you can stand inside a giant soap bubble. In another, you speak quietly into a long tube, and your friend can hear you clearly at the other end of the room. My friends and I laughed so much that a guide had to ask us to be quieter.
3The space section was also . A model of the solar system hangs from the , and a special shows what you would weigh on the Moon. I weigh about fifty kilograms on Earth, but on the Moon the showed only about eight! That is because on the Moon is much weaker than on Earth.
4However, the museum has some problems. The café is small and expensive, and on the day we visited, it was very . A few of the exhibits were broken, which was . Also, the signs are quite long, and younger children may find them hard to read.
5In spite of these problems, I strongly recommend the museum. Plan to spend at least three hours there, and bring your own sandwiches. I give it four stars out of five.
