1We are happy to that the new cycling path along Ha-Yarden Park will open on Sunday, 1 March. The path is four kilometres long and the train station with the sports centre and the main schools in the city.
2The path is for bicycles and electric scooters only. People who are walking or running should use the footpath next to it, which is in a different colour. Dogs are welcome on the footpath, but they must be kept on a .
3To keep everyone safe on the path, please follow these rules:
4• Always wear a . • Keep to the right, and pass other riders on the left. • Ride slowly near the playground and the schools. • Use lights after dark. • Only one rider on each bicycle or scooter.
5During the first week, in yellow vests will be on the path to answer questions and help new riders. Free safety lessons for children will take place at the sports centre every Friday morning in March.
6Please help us keep the path clean and safe. If you see a problem, such as a broken light or a hole in the path, call the city at 106. Enjoy the ride!
