1My grandfather Avi lives on a kibbutz in the north, and I live in Tel Aviv with my parents. We only see him once a month, and I always him. Grandpa has a new , but until this year he used it only for phone calls. "These smart things are not for me," he always said.
2During the Hanukkah holiday, I stayed with him for three days, and I decided to teach him how to make video calls. On the first day, he kept the wrong . Once, he called his by mistake! We both laughed. Then I wrote the steps for him on a piece of paper in big letters.
3On the second day, he practised again and again. On the third day, he did it alone, without looking at the paper.
4Now Grandpa calls me every Friday afternoon. He shows me his vegetable garden, and I show him my drawings. Last week, he even sent me a photo of a tomato with a funny face! I think he is very of himself. And I am of him, too.
