A fox mask has pointed ears and a long muzzle.
Common customs include costumes and triangular pastries called hamantaschen. The day also includes gifts of food, help for people in need and a festive meal. A costume is one part of the celebration, not its whole meaning.
A holiday word to learn with this page: “scroll” is מגילה in Hebrew. Say it together, then look for something in the picture or in your home that goes with it.
The suggested ages are 5–8. Sharpened colored pencils help with the smaller details in this drawing.
Color the mask first. An adult should cut the outline and eye openings and check the fit before attaching a handle or elastic.
